Tithes

I'd suggest each freehold has to tithe 5 (or something) glamour a month to the count.

We let people know that Enverona has never missed a tithe, that Kantabal is behind but mostly pays up eventually, and that Ayrie misses a lot.

Then we can start the Gwydions off behind the 8-ball, by saying that their tithe is past due. That they owe 15 glamour to the count today, or else. His messenger is due 2/3rds of the way through the game.

Count's messenger a scolarly frog chimera in waistcoat and tophat on a haughty pony. Has 10 for all stats/skills can store large amounts of glamour, he (or the pony) will flickerflash them both away if attacked and report back to the Count. He is the same messenger who recieves and delivers the Count's monthly corrospondence as well as the tithes. If he is attacked or in any other way hindered anywhere in the region, tithes are doubled for everyone until someone is presented to answer for the interference.

Unfortunately for Ayrie their has been a rise in supernatural attacks within Canberra and the knights have been using most of their glamour combatting this new assult (which is why the tithe is overdue). Paying now may leave them without glamour for defence, a n untenable military possition when facing an unknown foe.
