Mainspring

Mainspring is an ongoing live action freeform, which runs from 2pm to 5pm on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the ANU in Canberra. It is set in a world which is part pulp and part steampunk. It has Mad Science, allowing for fantastic devices such as Clockwork Automaton, steam-powered Clanks, Lightning guns, Frankenstein style creations and many more. In the high northern snows dinosaurs roam, while Zeppelins and Ornithopters fight for the skys in the south. Characters can be from one of 4 races human, Galetean(organic construct), Automaton or Clank.

They can be associated with the Military, the University or the Nobility.

They can come from either country; Guilder or Florin.

Several months ago the city of Mainspring was ceded to Guilder as part of the peace treaty which suddenly ended the recent bitter war between the two countries.

  • OOC: The game is on Sunday, the 15th March, at the ANU, John Dedman 101.
  • Arrive 1:30pm for a 2:00pm start (5:00-5:30 finish).
